There is one of the oldest czech castles in guesthouse vicinity. Castle Primda. It is considered as the second oldest stone building of its type in Czechia. Chronicler named Cosmas is very often linked to this castle as he made a note about this place in year 1112.In 12th and 14th century Primda was considered as a defending castle within Czech Kingdom. Its dominance prevailed to these days and all of you can witness its mediavel magnificence. There is a beatiful panorama view from the top of the castle. In castle nearby there is ski centre available with ski slope, cross-country tracks as well as indoor swimming pool. Svata Katerina village was formerly very imporant place for glass manufacturing, textile industry and agriculture. There was an emperor path from Prague to Paris going through this village. |
